Effective immediately, the Home Sweet Home fragrance has been renamed My Home for legal reasons.

We realize your Spring/Summer 2012 catalogs will still make reference to Home Sweet Home, but your PWS and Workstation will now refer to this fragrance as My Home.The name My Home will be used in any reprints of the Spring/Summer 2012 catalog, as well as in the Fall/Winter 2012 catalog and any other references moving forward.

The Scentsy Family design team is working to redesign product labels for all My Home fragrance offerings and create new artwork for our websites.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause.

Scentsy co-owners Heidi and Orville Thompson have found a name that more accurately describes the umbrella company we had earlier announced as “Scentsy Group.”

We often talk about the Scentsy Family, and so have decided to name the overarching company housing Scentsy Wickless and Velata brands — and the new brand we will announce at Convention — “Scentsy Family.”

When new Consultants join, we often say, “Welcome to the Scentsy family.” Now, we can say that officially! All of us, regardless of what brands we sell, are part of the Scentsy Family.

Soon you’ll see a new “Scentsy Family” logo and the new name in documents and on the on this website where “Scentsy Group” most recently appeared.

Scentsy donated $322,500 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities through the sales of Sasha, our first Charitable Cause Buddy.

4-year-old Sydni McConnell used the Ronald McDonald House when she was diagnosed with leukemia as a baby. When Sydni’s family found out about Sasha, they saw an opportunity to give back to kids undergoing treatment at the University of Nebraska Medical Center — the same place Sydni was treated.

Sydni raised enough money to donate 36 bears, which she passed out to children at UNMC. In honor of her outreach, Scentsy welcomed her and her parents to the giveback celebration!

What else can you expect at convention?

Training! Each training session at Scentsy Convention 2012 will be held in the arena in the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year we’re offering more training, more giveaways, more announcements, and more fun for each and every Consultant in attendance!

From the Escential Consultant to the SuperStar Director, each attendee will learn valuable information and techniques to grow and sustain their Scentsy businesses. The environment is fun, energetic, and motivational. Don’t miss these opportunities to be inspired and motivated as you begin the next leg of your Scentsy journey!

Each session will be moderated by key Scentsy executives, communications and performance experts, and leading Consultants. You can also expect to hear inspirational keynote messages from Heidi and Orville Thompson, Scentsy’s President and CEO!

New product reveals and giveaways will take place throughout the training sessions at Light It Up. Scentsy’s Director Boot Camps are currently under way. When you go to Boot Camp you receive two and a half days of high-level training designed to build your leadership skills and strengthen your relationships with team members. You’ll also get the tools you need to help your team members reach their own goals — all while meeting Scentsy leaders from all over the country and beyond, making friendships you’ll never forget.

This training is invaluable to Directors looking to keep expanding their businesses. It includes tours of the factory, home office, Scentsy gym to remind everyone that running a Scentsy business is a balance. You still need to take care of yourself and your loved ones.

The next opportunity to attend a Boot Camp will be in October.

Hosting a party is a fun and easy way to earn FREE and half-priced Scentsy products of your choice. A formal party doesn’t always fit everyone’s home or schedule. There are different parties available so you can choose the one that best suits you. Once you book your party, invite everyone you know-family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. The more people you invite the more rewards you are likely to earn.  Then stock up on your favorite Scentsy wickless products!

Here are the different types of parties!

Home Party

This party would be held at your home and would include sending out  invitations by mail, as well as e-mail, if you choose. A presentation would be given to inform your guests about the products and business opportunity provided by Scentsy.

Basket/ Catalog Party

This party is great if you do not want to host in a party in your house. I will give you a basket with catalogs and order forms as well as some sample products and testers of all of the available fragrances. Then you take the basket with you wherever you go-work, family gatherings, social functions. Take it to baseball practice and text your friends to meet you there. You might be surprised how someone will drive to you, just for the love of Scentsy.  You can also just keep it at home and tell friends about it when they come by. Tell your family and friends about Scentsy and collect their orders.

Online Party

This party is also a great option if  you don’t want to clean your house, find someone to watch your kids, or are short on time. I will set up a special party in your name on the home page of my website. You can then invite friends verbally, or via e-mail or social networking sites to get onto the website and purchase products from your party. They can view products and place their orders right on the website.

Not local to my area?

Not a problem. You can still host a party through me. We will make arrangements for you to receive all of the materials necessary for you to host your party and the products will ship directly to you to distribute to your guests.
